WP5 - Integrated workflow and implementation
WP5 establishes a unified approach for handling and propagating uncertainty throughout the ground-modelling workflow. Building on a Bayesian Data Analysis (BDA) framework, it combines output and uncertainty from each analysis step and carries them forward consistently to produce traceable, decision-ready results.
WP5’s first task is to map data and software requirements with input from technical experts (geoscientists, geophysicists, geotechnical engineers), to clarify inputs, outputs, and dependencies. WP5 subsequently integrates the data requirements and developed workflows into a coherent analysis pipeline with standardized and API-facilitated hand-offs.
In parallel, work proceeds on one of WP5’s central objectives: to develop a modern backend that handles different data types, requirements, and versioning. This ensures results are reproducible, that the uncertainty trail remains clear. We focus on practical adoption by packaging ready-to-use tools, templates, and examples. We further explore how project workflows can be integrated into NGI-Digital products (e.g., FM SIITE, Field Manager).
The result is a scalable, well-connected system that avoids duplicate work, improves oversight, and turns mixed datasets into clear, reliable insights.
