WP2 - Processing and assessment of prototype measurement data
A significant element of this research is the compilation of measured data available through the industrial partners of the project and through the cooperating international partners.
The natural frequency, hence the foundation stiffness, and the changes in foundation damping during the lifetime and for different load levels will be key subjects in the research.
Efforts will be made to describe and explain the observed disagreement between the measured response and predictions. This data will be used to validate the numerical models developed in this project.
Field testing av Rødby, Denmark ( NGI)
Data from full-scale or model tests will be collected and processed. Relevant parameters include Natural frequencies, damping, load-displacement responses, and stresses in the soil and the foundation/structure.
