The MINEYE project aims to optimize European mining operations by addressing the entire mining value chain, from explorations to mine closure. The project will develop tools for visualization and decision-making, supported by dynamic updates of Earth Observation data and knowledge using machine learning and digital twin technologies.

THERMESI – Thermal Effects on Seal Integrity

Integrity of CO2 storage reservoirs depends on sealing capacity of caprock. Project will investigate thermal effects on the reservoir-caprock interface via THM-modelling and experiments in both lab-scale, and full-scale (to be built in project).
