Scientists

NGI has expertise within the geosciences and relates areas such as mechanics, dynamics, applied mathematics, information technology, physics, chemistry, instrumentation and electronics.

Students

NGI offers work experience and summer jobs for students. We give priority to graduate students from Norwegian universities. You will get the opportunity to work on projects and get acquainted with field and/ or laboratory work, or more theoretical studies. A summer job at NGI is a good starting point for project assignments at NGI, for master thesis and possibly for future employment.
