The Sensor Decade

The Sensor Decade er et arrangement i regi av Oslo Science City Arena. Det er et sted for å dele kunnskap og erfaring, samt akselerere veksten av nye ideer. Oslo Science City ønsker å bidra til å muliggjøre og forbedre innovasjonsmulighetene ved å skape en arena der ledende forskere og svært motiverte studenter kan samhandle med dynamiske næringsinkubatorer og nyskapende selskaper.

ISSW 2024

The ISSW (International Snow Science Workshop) facilitates an interdisciplinary exchange of ideas and experiences, and the conference will welcome stakeholders and snow professionals worldwide.

The conference´s motto; “A merging of theory and practice”. 

Through a wide range of presentation formats, the ISSW offer a gathering ground which facilitates direct interaction amongst the audience, participants, and snow professionals. 

We look forward to welcoming people from the snow and avalanche community to Tromsø, Norway, 23-29 September 2024. 

RMCC2024

“NGI organizes the 1st international Rock Mass Classification Conference” (RMCC) in Oslo at the end of October 2024. The conference theme is “Rock Mass Classification meets the Challenges of the 21st Century” and we look forward to discussing rock mass classification with experts from industry and academia!”

 

2nd International Symposium on Geo Test Sites

Welcome to the 2nd International Symposium on GeoTest sites (2nd ISGTS). The symposium will be held on 5th-6th June 2025 in the vibrant city of Tampere in Southern Finland, a true hidden gem in Europe.

The symposium is organized by Tampere University, in collaboration with NGI.

ISGSR 2025

NGI organizes the 9th International Symposium for Geotechnical Safety and Risk (ISGSR). This is a successful biennial series of international conferences supported by the Geotechnical Safety Network (GEOSNet), ISSMGE Technical Committees TC304, TC205 and TC309, and ASCE Geo Institute’s Technical Committee on Risk Assessment and Management. 

The symposium will be held in Oslo, Norway, from August 24th to 27th, 2025. 

The theme of ISGSR 2025 is “Geotechnical Risk Frontiers” and will feature the latest research developments and innovations in engineering practice, focusing on using probabilistic and risk methodologies in geotechnical engineering.
