Zack will build upon existing NGI activity, including ongoing projects with Ørsted and Equinor as well as involvement in research projects for the Bureau of Ocean and Energy Management (BOEM). One task for Zack will be to strengthen relationships with key academic partners in New England to access R&D opportunities, students and researchers.
Partnership with Haley & Aldrich
NGI has established a strategic partnership with Boston-based consultancy firm Haley & Aldrich to provide a complementary suite of services related to offshore wind farm development, from onshore permitting through construction support, grid connection services, foundation design and instrumentation and monitoring.
- I am very excited to have this opportunity to play a key role in NGI's entry into US offshore wind. The industry here is at a pivotal point with several utility-scale projects planned along the East Coast. The timing is right for introducing NGI's existing and new clients to ways in which we can help optimize offshore wind farm development in the US through our extensive European experience and our global reputation for geotechnical excellence. Having grown up in New England, I am very fortunate to now be part of this new industry, in my own backyard no less, Zack explains.
At AWEA 2019 in Boston
Together with NGI colleagues and representatives from Haley & Aldrich, Zack will be present at the AWEA 2019 conference and exhibition in Boston, 22-23 October. Meet us at exhibition booth 123!
