National centre for geotechnical research and development
NGI is a national centre for geotechnical research and development. The research and development we conduct within geotechnics and associated disciplines shall create results in the form of new expertise, new methods and new technology. Continuous skills development among own employees and interaction with the most important Norwegian educational communities within our specialised fields are a significant part of our operation. Thus, employee development and assistance with education are given high priority and we therefore have excellent skills development programmes. For example, we offer fellowships for further education and study residences abroad.
