Rock physics tests
NGI has rock physics setups available in most triaxial cells allowing monitoring of P & S- wave velocities and electrical resistivity as an integrated part of triaxial testing.
- Instrumentation designed to optimize combined geomechanical and geophysical testing
- Streamlined system to optimize the process of data acquisition, processing, analysis and reporting of large data sets (frequent sampling)
- Axial and radial measurements of ultrasonic P & S- wave velocities and electrical resistivity
- Stress/temperature/fluid dependent rock physics relationships with high flexibility towards choice of stress and temperature path or flooding conditions (i.e. representative for a dynamically changing reservoir or compacting sediments)
