Guidance and assistance - masters thesis

NGI has long experience with guidance and assistance to students in connection with Masters thesis.

A masters thesis is generally the conclusion of university education within relevant disciplines for NGI's fields of expertise. NGI has employees which in addition to their assignment at NGI, have a part time post as professors at the University of Oslo, Institute for Geosciences or at the NTNU in Trondheim, in group for Geotechnical Engineering. 

Each year NGI suggest relevant topics for masters thesis. Those who are interested may contact relevant Division Director or Discipline Leaders, or one of the contact persons to the right on this page. A summer job assignement at NGI is also often a good opportunity to find relevant topics for masters thesis.
