NGI Inc cooperated with NGI in Oslo in further evaluation of the existing Troll-A platform in the North Sea to analyse the effect of increase in topside load. A full 3D finite element model was used to simulate the increase in top side load and to evaluate the structure¿s response due to wave loading, earthquake analysis and the increase in foundation pore pressure during storm.
