The financing period for the International Centre for Geohazards (ICG) ends in 2012. In this conjunction ICG organized a symposium "Geohazards and Society" 29-30 November 2012 at NGI in Oslo. See the presentations here.

Nature, the journal ranked as the world's most cited interdisciplinary scientific journal, has recently published the ICG article; "Contrasting patterns of early twenty-first-century glacier mass change in the Himalayas".
